All bar electrodes consist of two tin electrodes placed 30 mm apart in a watertight acrylic bar. The bar configuration permits easy electrode placement without disturbing electrode to electrode spacing. Bar electrodes are recommended for use when applying a stimulus, or recording a signal, during nerve conduction, somatosensory or muscle twitch recordings.

  • EL350 Circular concave contact area: 9.5 mm (base diameter), 0.6 mm (depth). Use for stimulating or recording.
  • EL350S Shielded, circular concave contact area: 9.5 mm (base diameter), 0.6 mm (depth). Use for stimulating or recording.
  • EL351 Circular convex contact area: 6.3 mm (base diameter), 4.3 mm (height). Use for recording.
  • The leads [2.4 mm (2 x 1.2 mm) x 61 cm long] terminate in standard Touchproof connectors, which connect to any 100C-series Biopotential amplifier or stimulus isolation adapter (STMISOC/D/E).

When using bar electrodes for signal recording, a single ground lead (LEAD110 with EL503) is required.

One CBL201 cable is required to convert Safelead electrode connectors to 2 mm pin-style connectors.
